In a run-down neighborhood bar, four people gather on the eve of Thanksgiving. Typically the busiest night of the year, the bar is nearly empty because a thick fog has kept at home everyone but the owner Sue, the employees Mike and Bree, and a customer named Jimmy. In Icelandic myth, the "huldufólk" are the hidden people. On this eve of Thanksgiving in small-town USA, so are Sue, Mike, Bree, and Jimmy.
